Enrichment Events
Join us at the Homeschool Enrichment Hub to experience educational programming, dynamic presentations, guest speakers, and more! We offer monthly enrichment programs on Friday afternoons. These drop in events are open to all. Individual events will be marked whether appropriate for elementary students aged 5-12 or all students K-12.
- Mar 21, 2025, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PMThe Homeschool Enrichment Hub, 1 Park St, Waterville, ME 04901, USALearn about the fascinating nutritional benefits of insects! Insect expert will be visiting the Hub to answer all your bug related questions. You will not want to miss this event. And yes---there will be samples of the edible species!
- Mar 28, 2025, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PMThe Homeschool Enrichment Hub, 1 Park St, Waterville, ME 04901, USAJeremy and Dallas are a K-9 team that works together to prevent arsons across the state of Maine and the United States. Dallas is a 2 year old yellow lab and is a Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, & Explosives (ATF) K-9 assigned to the State Fire Marshals Office.

Multiple DatesTue, Apr 01Story Hour with Miss Cortney- May 16, 2025, 2:30 PM – 3:30 PMThe Homeschool Enrichment Hub, 1 Park St, Waterville, ME 04901, USAThe Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers will visit the Hub again, this time to introduce students to puppeteering! Each student will get to design and craft their own sock puppet, and learn tips and tricks for becoming a puppet master!

Students will enjoy hearing and making music together from around the world with music educators, Mr. & Mrs. Rhein! They will learn about a variety of instruments and hear all sorts of interesting rhythms and songs as well as participate in fun movements and dance.
