The Homeschool Enrichment Hub
A Ministry of First Church of Waterville
Join Us For Enrichment at the Hub
The Hub offers monthly enrichment events for homeschool students in the Central Maine area. The drop in events are open to all in the homeschool community. We hope that you will join us to experience dynamic presentations, exciting demonstrations, and fun, enriching events.

We also provide community learning opportunities for children enrolled in our Hub Membership program. Members will have the opportunity to learn in a cooperative environment with their peers, with monthly offerings in Art History, Science Lab, and Music Appreciation & Exploration. Members will also have exclusive access to monthly clubs including ASL, Computer Club, Bible Club, Chess Club, and more. These gatherings will be a wonderful opportunity for children to learn together and form friendships.

While students are in their sessions, parents are encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary coffee bar in the parent lounge. Families with young children may choose to enjoy the use of the nursery on the main floor of the building. There is wifi available, as well many quiet corners for working or catching up on teacher prep time! Parents with students under the age of 12 must remain on the premises while students are in session.
Teenagers at the Hub
Enrichment for Teens
Enrichment Events for Teens! We look forward to providing a fun and safe learning environment for our older students. Teens in our Membership program will have access to monthly Art History & Music Appreciation classes, as well as a variety of clubs. Many of our monthly enrichment events will be suitable for students of all ages, and teens are welcome to attend on a drop in basis.
Hub Helpers
Hub Helpers is a program for teens interested in assisting and partnering with our younger learners as assistants in the elementary classrooms. Last year we saw great benefits from the Hub Helper program, the teens are instrumental in assisting the educators. This mentorship program was incredibly successful and we look forward to seeing how those bonds progress between our elementary and Hub Helper students in the future.
If your teen is interested in becoming a Hub Helper, please reach out.
